Ring Tower & Rings:
Peg: (while ending her play with sticks, Peg selects the ring tower from its position on the side and sets it up on its base inside the toy tray; she moves it outside the toy tray and picks up 3 rings: ring A equal ring 0, in her right hand, she drops onto the conical shaft; from her left hand, she selects ring B equal ring 6. And puts that on top of the conical shaft; it remains at the top just below the knob. She then selects ring C equal ring 4 and balances that on top of ring 6 and makes a nonverbal noise.)
Peg: (taking the ring tower of the conical shaft, she turns it so that ring C falls off. Rotating and shaking the ring tower as if trying to remove ring 6, she eventually does so with her left hand, and then proceeds to remove ring A also.)

Peg: (turning the ring tower upside down, she matches ring 0 across the bottom of the ring tower base, looking at the hole in the bottom of the shaft and poking her finger in it. Throwing down ring 0, she again looks at the base and says something uninterpretable – – which sounds a bit like: body like too – oo-oo.
Bob: hmm?
Peg: (uninterpretable phrase: sounds like: cut big too.
Bob: I don’t understand what you said at all.
Peg: (with her fingers still in the whole of the base, she lets go of it and turns her attention to something else. She crawls off towards the fireplace to retrieve the beanbag turtle.)
