Peggy Confronting a Problem and Rejecting It: Bob: (pointing to the gap between the lowest ring and the base of the ring tower) why don’t you have anything down there? Peg: Don’t know. (Removing rings from the top of the ring towers stack to the floor) I’m going to put those down. Bob: Okay. Which one are you going to put down there? Peg: Another one (??) Bob: (uninterpretable comment.) Peg: (placing ring A equal ring 5 on the conical stack.) Bob: There we go. Beautiful. Peg: (pressing down on the ring, then accepting it’s not fitting, removing it from setting it aside.) GPL: but it doesn’t go down. Peg: (selecting ring B equal ring 3, putting it on the shaft, she brings it as low as possible. Peggy then tilts her head down to look at the gap between the lowest ring – – ring 0 – – and the newly installed ring 3.) That don’t work. Bob: That doesn’t work? Peg: No. (Struggling to remove ring 3 from the cylindrical stack.) Bob: Can you find any that do work? Peg: I did it! (As she removes ring B equal ring 3 from the conical shaft.) Bob: Good for you. Peg: I want to get my lamb. (??) (While hugging her lamb Peggy says something uninterpretable.) Lamb: (the music box within make some sounds.) |
